An Introduction

Sideways Swords is a comedic fantasy webcomic following the journey of Westwen, a no-class 18-year-old peasant in the land of Søbata. Westwen is, for all intents and purposes, a grumpy prick, whose sole desires are getting laid and complaining about his run-down village (and of course those snobby, asshole elves up in the mountains). His best friend, Barcro, is a slightly dimwitted, well-meaning wizard’s apprentice. Westwen’s life soon becomes a mixbag of (mis)adventure and magic–not that he wants any part of it.
